So what is it? Minepreggo takes Minecraft's whole "breeding" idea and turns it into an actual, fleshed-out system. Instead of tossing wheat at two cows, you get a deep pregnancy mechanic with real biology behind it — menstrual cycles, fertility, genetics, the works. It's honestly kind of a lot, in the best way.

The pregnancy system

This is the heart of the mod, and it's way more involved than you'd expect.

Getting pregnant isn't a coin flip. Female characters run on a menstrual cycle, and conception only happens during the ovulation window. On top of that, both partners have a fertility level (from low all the way up to very high), sperm quality matters, and even your health plays a part. Hit that ovulation peak and your odds shoot way up. There's a FERTILE effect too, if you want to crank the chances of twins (or a whole litter).

Once you're pregnant, you're in it for the long haul — pregnancy runs through ten phases (P0 to P9), and each one changes how your character looks, moves, and feels. Your belly grows, you slow down, you get morning sickness early on, then back pain, cravings, contractions... it actually simulates the rough parts. You'll need maternity armor to stay protected, and certain things (elytra, riding horses) get locked out as you get further along.

And there are a bunch of ways to get pregnant:

  • The classic way — with another player, a villager (you court them by tossing them food, which is a fun touch), or one of your tamed mobs.
  • Mob attacks — get jumped by a zombie, creeper, enderman, or slime and you might end up carrying their kid. (Server can turn this off if it's too much.)
  • Potions — the quick, guaranteed route, no biology required.

There's even a genetics system for kids made the natural way. Babies inherit species and type from both parents, rolled per-baby, so one litter can have a wild mix. Some hybrids — like a humanoid ender or humanoid slime baby — can only come from crossbreeding. Potions won't get you those.

When it's time, giving birth is a hands-on minigame: you push in rhythm, baby by baby, and different species are harder than others (good luck with the ender dragon). Pull it off and you walk away with babies as items, plus some post-birth buffs.

Preggomobs

Here's where it gets really fun. Preggomobs are special breedable mob girls — zombie girls, creeper girls (humanoid and monster), slime girls, ender women — that you can tame, keep, and breed.

Each one's got personality and her own quirks:

  • Slime girls grow through size stages (normal all the way up to massive) and can be ridden once they're big enough — the monster ones bounce around like a jump-horse.
  • Ender women can teleport you around and need protection from rain.
  • Zombie girls burn in the sun, so toss a diamond helmet on them.
  • They've got their own inventories, can carry your kids, and even ask you for some attention when they're in the mood.

They go through the same full pregnancy cycle you do, except their birth is automatic — they pop out the babies and you collect them.

There's also a whole economy and creature cast wrapped around all this: the Scientific Illager is a wandering merchant who sells preggomobs, breast milk, baby items, rare potions, and treasure-only enchantments — and runs medical checkups (ultrasounds, paternity tests, fertility readings). Then there are Reproduction Witches roaming at night, either trying to knock you up or wreck your fertility, depending on which type you run into.
